    Supply Chain Business Analyst

     

    The Supply Chain Business Analyst interfaces with production, planning, and finance partners, to resolve budgeting, reporting, software, internal billing, and forecast issues. Extensive P&L modeling and reconciliation is required to provide the clearest picture of the business’ health. Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory control, data extraction and manipulation are vital to support this fulfillment warehouse.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Must possess strong problem-solving skills and application knowledge with the ability to analytically line out projects for the future evolution
    • Partners with Finance and Fulfillment and Collateral Services peer staff nationwide on budgeting and billing issues
    • Budgeting and financial reporting, nationwide with all its incumbent details
    • Assist Planning and Supply Chain management in meeting designated metrics. Keep open line of communication at all times
    • Provide analytical support to supply chain projects and initiatives. Manage on-going business needs
    • Provide inventory management, including forecasting, production planning, PO creation and receipt and monthly inventory reconciliation for various Advantage clients
    • Gap analysis on developing, implementing, and monitoring on key functions related to supply chain
    • Monitor and report on excess to inventory levels and execute plans to reduce those materials level
    • Develop and monitor performance against KPI’s
    • Create and manage SOP documentation 

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • (Required): Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or Finance
    • 10+ years of experience in Experience in Finance
    • 5-10 years of experience with budgeting for a large corporation
    • (Preferred) Microsoft Dynamics AX experience, and knowledge of inventory systems
    • (Preferred) Financial modeling, P&L, Billing, and reconciliation experience

    Vendor Management Inventory
    • Generating orders as well as creating and maintaining inventory plans.

    Business Support
    • Assist Planning and Supply Chain management in meeting designated metrics. Keep open line of communication at all times.

    Analytical Support
    • Provide analytical support to supply chain projects and initiatives. Manage on-going business needs.

    Performance Analysis
    • Coordinate and research performance data and conduct analysis required to monitor and report technology to streamline and improve the accuracy of the reporting process

    Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
    Education Level: (Required) High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience

    (Preferred) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business degree is preferred; customer service experience; order management expertise

    - 3-5 years of experience in customer service/vendor service

     

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
    - Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
    - Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
    - Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
    - Analytical and research Skills
    - Ability to exercise sound judgment
    - Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers

     

    Environmental & Physical Requirements

    Office / Sedentary Requirements
    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
