    Position Summary  

                                                     

    As a Data Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting Retail Operation Managers, District Sales Managers and Sales Specialists by analyzing data and presenting it in a format, which can be used to make effective business decisions.

                                               

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

     

    Data Collection

    • Meet specific needs of requesting party by determining appropriate data selection.
    • Weekly program event creation and upload
    • Perform QA of reporting and programming, including call reports and quota management.
    • Product purchase requirements (Comdata assignments, amounts, product levels, etc.)
    • All Comdata reporting (pre and post event)
    • ASM Connects Web Site Posting
    • Master Execution report, Regional Sales Lift calculations, workorder upload and changes into PTS
    • Call center support

    Data Analysis/Interpretation/Application

    • Determine and support business opportunities and key drivers by analyzing data and recommending solutions.
    • Evaluate the reliability of source information by weighting raw data and organizing results for analysis.
      • Industry/competitor analysis and trending.
    • Communicate business opportunities and recommend action plans by working with Retail Operations Managers to develop persuasive presentations.
    • Organize information by studying, analyzing, interpreting, and classifying data. 
    • Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, and conferring with management.
    • Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
    • Safety: must have the ability to perform the job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings.  Will utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary.  Will be proactive in alerting Management of any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries.

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    • 2-4 years of experience in applicable field (i.e. sales and marketing agency, Customer and/or Client)
    • Working knowledge of syndicate data and applications

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Strong written communication and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to make oral presentations
    • Analytical and research Skills
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers 

    Environmental & Physical Requirements

     

    Office / Sedentary Requirements

     

    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.  A detailed Environmental and Physical Requirements document is available in the Total Rewards department.
