    Position Summary:  

     

    Seeking culinary professional with proven track record of managing multiple projects, with attention to detail, under tight deadlines in a fast paced Test Kitchen environment.  Individual must be able to apply creativity to recipe development for new and existing products in major retailer.  Must be able to effectively communicate across multiple departments and have critical follow up skills.

     

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:


    • Prepare test kitchens and appropriate recipe/instruction manuals

    • Ensure items for recipe/instruction manuals are fully stocked 

     

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    Direct Reports
    - This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

    Indirect Reports
    - This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

     

     

    Travel and/or Driving Requirements:

    - Travel and Driving are essential duties and function of this job 
    - Travel up to        5%

     

     

    Minimum Qualifications: The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

     

    Education Level: (Required)  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience      

     

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: 

    - Previous food handling/preparation experience required
    - Bilingual preferred
    - Promotional background preferred
    - Reliable transportation

     

     

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

     

    • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage
    • Food Safety Certified

     

     

    Environmental & Physical Requirements:

     

    Office / Sedentary Requirements:
    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.  A detailed Environmental and Physical Requirements document is available in the Total Rewards department.
