The Artist II is responsible for the creation of art files to be released OTV (out to vendor), detailed product retouching, image enhancement, internal studio photography, and organizing and archiving client digital assets.  The Artist II will use a high degree of independent judgment and discretion in creating art files, retouching, and image enhancements in line with client needs.  The Artist II will focus on complex projects and/or complex clients.

    Job Duty

    • INITIAL REQUEST/ SCHEDULING: After receiving request from Director/PM / Client Service teams on specific program needs, the Artist II will evaluate workload, resources, and provide feedback on scope of work and timing.
    • MECHANICALS: The Artist will build and/or create all element layouts, using their independent discretion and judgement, to proper specifications and requirements.  The Artist II creates art files to ensure a flawless execution and print production of all program elements.
      • The Artist II will use their expertise in design and computer applications to review final designs and layouts. In finalizing the products, artists will determine any improvements and modify formats to increase the quality of production and ensure that standards are met. 
      • Other duties include but are not limited to scaling, cropping, retouching, repositioning and pre-flighting, or eliminating defective and excessive imaging.
    • RETOUCHING: Artist II will estimate and get approvals from clients, then retouch elements as needed.
    • ASSET MANAGEMENT: The Artist II properly names, codes and archives all critical final creative files so it can be easily retrieved for future request. All brand product shots are organized and made available in a general location for Creative Teams/Studio to use in future.
    • ASSET REQUEST: The Artist II will search for, edit, and provide product shots, past ads and sellsheets for clients’ e-commerce use.

    Minimum Qualifications


    The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

    Education Level: (Required):   Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

    Field of Study/Area of Experience:

    - 3-5 Years of experience in Graphic Design or similar field

    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
