    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic oversight of budgeting, forecasting, planning, billing, and margins in partnership with the accounting team.
    • Develops, implements and communicates operational strategies and solutions.
    • Works collaboratively with the client in the development of budget, coverage model, sales programs, reporting and tools to accurately assess ROI.
    • Client point person for all special requests including, but not limited to, billing questions, payment, budget reallocation, coverage model revisions.
    • Regularly reports/present to Sr. Director on areas of financial performance and spend.
    • Ensures budget and spending levels are set and managed to appropriate levels; develops ideas for cost-saving measures.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Operation Management or equivalent experience is required
    • 5+ years of experience in Operations/Financial modeling
    • Experience working in an agency, retail, CPG or CE environment
    • Good interpersonal and team building skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and with the ability to make oral presentations

    Position Summary  

                                                    

    The Manager, Internal Operations is responsible for the development, implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all the financial programs. As a member of the team, the Manager, Internal Operations participates in strategic forecasting and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving.  Focus is on delivering accurate and timely billing to the client through detailed fiscal tracking.

     

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Strategic oversight of budgeting, forecasting, planning, billing, and margins in partnership with the accounting team.
    • Develops, implements and communicates operational strategies and solutions
    • Works collaboratively with client in development of budget, coverage model, sales programs, reporting and tools to accurately assess ROI
    • Client point person for all special requests including, but not limited to, billing questions, payment, budget reallocation, coverage model revisions
    • Responsible to development and build-out of internal financial systems/works collaboratively with accounting team to ensure timely delivery
    • Regularly reports/presents to Sr. Director on areas of financial performance and spend
    • Ensures budget and spending levels are set and managed to appropriate levels
    • Works collaboratively with sales team in areas including, but not limited to, budget development, adherence, financial control and coverage model execution/revisions
    • Develops ideas for cost saving measures

    Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

     

    Indirect Reports

     

    May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

     

    Travel and/or Driving Requirements

     

    Travel is an essential duty and function of this job. Driving is not an essential duty or function of this job. Travel up to 25%

     

    Minimum Qualifications

     

    Education Level: (Required)  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

                                       

    Field of Study/Area of Experience: Business Administration or Operation Management

    • 5+ years of experience in Operations/Financial modeling
    • Experience working in an agency, retail, CPG or CE environment

    Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively with management
    • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
    • Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to make oral presentations
    • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
    • Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadline

    Environmental & Physical Requirements

     

    Office / Sedentary Requirements

    Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.  Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
